Viva Los Bentos!

I made a run for the border at lunchtime.
  • Trader Joe's chicken and cheese tamale (cut to fit)
  • mini bell peppers
  • 2 practically bloodless blood oranges
  • 1 carrot
  • balsamic vinaigrette dipper
This tamale was really good! I was very surprised. It thawed out in my lunchbox in the morning and I nuked it for just 1 minute. Perfect. I'm not going to lie. I like the fact that the mini bell peppers look like spicy chili peppers. It seemed very festive.
Weird breakfast and snacks today. I'm actually still liking the Ezekiel bread. So I popped a slice into the office toaster this morning and had it with a piece of low fat cheddar cheese. Oh! My new sweet treat this week is this Greek yogurt (with caramel on the bottom). It's got 16 grams of sugar so I don't want to go overboard with it. But, there are 10 grams of protein. That's something, right? Anyway I tried to make it a bit more healthy by adding some strawberries and TJ's High Fiber Cereal.

Hasta la vista!
